Recognition of high-reliability European semiconductor innovation
Magics Technologies has been selected in the latest round of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator, one of Europe’s most competitive funding instruments for breakthrough deep-tech companies.
The selected proposal, submitted under the acronym HEROS (High-Reliability European Semiconductor Chips for Next-Gen Intelligent Systems), supports Magics’ continued development of advanced semiconductor solutions designed for extreme environments.
The EIC Accelerator identifies and backs companies with strong technological differentiation and high growth potential. Selection follows a highly competitive evaluation and interview process at European level.
Enabling Critical Systems
Magics develops radiation-tolerant, high-reliability integrated circuits that support mission-critical systems in space, advanced energy, and other demanding industrial applications.
“This selection confirms the strategic relevance of our technology for Europe’s future,” says Jens Verbeeck, CEO of Magics. “We are committed to developing semiconductor solutions that operate where reliability is non-negotiable, supporting space missions, next-generation energy systems, and intelligent infrastructure.”
Strengthening Europe’s Deep-Tech Ecosystem
With HEROS, Magics continues to advance European semiconductor capabilities, contributing to technological sovereignty and resilient supply chains in sectors where failure is not an option.
