Magics Technologies has opened its first U.S. office, based in Osceola County, Florida. The new site becomes the company's U.S. headquarters, combining sales, business development and application engineering to support American space, defense and nuclear customers, backed by on-site inventory and local technical support.
A first step into the U.S. market
This marks Magics' first physical presence in the United States, building on relationships formed during the ITF World Belgium and Netherlands Mission. The company chose Osceola County for its semiconductor infrastructure, access to skilled talent, strong academic partnerships and global connectivity through Orlando International Airport, placing Magics alongside the established space and defense players already anchored in Florida's ecosystem.
Jens Verbeeck, CEO of Magics Technologies, said the region's combination of infrastructure, talent and industry support aligned closely with the company's long-term growth strategy, and that operating from Osceola County brings Magics' rad-hard technology closer to the space and nuclear customers who rely on it.
Closer to the customers who need rad-hard electronics most
Magics designs radiation-hardened ICs on standard CMOS for space, nuclear and defense applications, from satellite constellations to lunar and deep-space missions to nuclear infrastructure. A U.S. base means faster local support and easier access for the American primes and agencies that make up a significant share of that market.
Part of a broader regional push
The move follows a collaborative site-selection process supported by the Orlando Economic Partnership, Osceola County Government, the University of Central Florida, SkyWater Technology, the Florida Semiconductor Engine, Florida High Tech Corridor and Space Florida, reflecting the pull that Osceola's NeoCity innovation district now has for international semiconductor investment.
