Geel (hybrid possible) | Full-time | Business Development Manager
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the space and New Space sector, with a strong focus on satellite constellations, launch systems, and exploration programs. This role combines technical understanding and commercial leadership, engaging directly with engineering, component, and reliability teams to position Magics’ solutions in next-generation space platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities across:
- - Satellite constellations (LEO/MEO)
- - Launch vehicles and space transportation systems
- - Exploration and deep space missions
- Build relationships with:
- - System architects and design engineers
- - Component and reliability teams
- - Procurement and program management
- Position Magics as a partner for:
- - Reducing system complexity
- - Standardising rad-hard building blocks
- - Enabling scalable, cost-efficient architectures
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to align on customer requirements and roadmap priorities
- Track market trends in New Space
- Represent Magics at industry events, customer meetings, and technical reviews
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or other relevant field
- Experience in space, aerospace, or semiconductor industry
- Poven track record in business development or technical sales
- Understanding of:
- Space system design constraints (radiation, power, reliability)
- Design-in and qualification processes
- Ability to engage credibly with engineering and reliability teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with New Space companies and satellite constellations
- Familiarity with radiation effects
- Existing network within the space ecosystem (primes, integrators, startups)
